In Loving Memory of
Evangelist Anderson Kendrick
With heartfelt sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved brother in Christ, Evangelist Anderson Kendrick, who entered his eternal rest on Monday, May 12, 2025.
Anderson lived a full, multifaceted life. He spent a 30 year career as a high school algebra teacher for special education students in Newark, New Jersey. After retirement, he studied at New Brunswick Theological Seminary and spent over 27 years preaching and teaching the Word of God. Famously entrepreneurial, he remodeled homes, deejayed, and curated art.
A celebration of Anderson’s life will be held Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10:30 am at the Sycamore Hill Church Wilmington, 2900 N. Van Buren Street, Wilmington, DE 19802

Brother Norman Vance Peek
With heartfelt sympathy, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved and faithful church member, Brother Norman Vance Peek, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
Brother Peek was a devoted and hardworking servant of the Lord. He served in the Usher ministry, the Food Bank Ministry and anywhere else he saw a need. His quiet strength, kind spirit, and unwavering dedication to the work of the church will be remembered with deep appreciation.

Brother Kenneth Leon “Sunnye” Peek
We ask the church family to be in prayer for Sister Yvonne Jones and her family in the passing of her beloved brother, Kenneth Leon “Sunnye” Peek, who transitioned on May 13, 2025. He was a cousin to Brother Norman Peek and Sister Carrie Middleton.
Scripture of comfort for the grieving families, as we continue to pray for the family of our beloved First Lady Majorie Flowers Wesley, who passed on April 27, 2025.
